Note on Spanish Mints

  • Mint name abbreviations used below are as follows: M = Madrid, S = Seville, Seg = Segovia, Ca = Cuenca, C = Cadiz, Ba = Barcelona, J, Ja = Jubia, PP = Pamplona, V = Valencia. With the exception of Segovia, which used an aqueduct, and Valladolid, which used four pennants, these correspond to the mintmarks on the actual coins.
