Sincona sale 101, lot 3585

This specimen was lot 3585 in Sincona Auction 101 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 26,000 CHF (about US$39,187 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SPANIEN Königreich, Isabella II. 1833-1868. 20 Reales 1850 DG, Madrid. Departamento de Grabado. Äusserst selten. NGC PF64. Prachtvolle Erhaltung mit herrlicher Patina. (kingdom of Spain, Isabella II. 1833-68, twenty reales of 1850, Madrid mint, engraving department. Extremely rare, Beautiful condition with magnificent patina.)"

This seems to be an essai or pattern for the regular Spain 1850-M CL 20 reales.
