This specimen was lot 24907 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2018), where it sold for $120. The catalog description[1] noted, "SPAIN. Real, 1728-F. Segovia Mint. Philip V (1700-46). PCGS AU-58 Secure Holder. Sharply struck, toned." This type was issued in Segovia 1717, 1721 and 1727-29 for Philip V of Spain. The SCWC lists the type as common. The Segovia mint ceased to strike reales after 1729.
