The specimen shown was lot 665 in Cayon Subastas sale in Madrid, on February 4 2012, where it sold for 575 € (about US$893 including buyer's fees). The catalog description [1] noted, "Sevilla. 8 reales. 1733. PA. MBC. (Seville 8 reales, 1733-PA. Very fine.)" This type was issued at Seville 1731-1736. All the early eight reales of Spain are rare and expensive.
