Shown is a Spanish eight reales struck in 1735 at the Seville mint. Assayer PA is recorded for the years 1731-1735. This specimen was auctioned by Marti Hervera in Barcelona, Spain, on May 3, 2011, where it sold for 1200 euro (about US$1980 including buyer's fees). The catalog description reads:

"8 Reales. 1735. SEVILLA. P.A. (Rayitas de ajuste de peso en reverso). MBC+/EBC-. (8 reales of 1735, Seville mint, PA, (adjustment marks on reverse), choice very fine/about extremely fine.)"

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 27.07 g, 0.903 fine silver, 0.7859 troy oz ASW.
