This specimen was lot 2592 in Aureo y Calicó sale 422 (Barcelona, December 2023), where it sold for 120 € (about US$155 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "1599. Felipe III. Segovia. 4 maravedís. Rayita. Escasa. MBC+ [scratched, scarce, choice very fine]." This type was milled at Segovia 1598-1602. Some come with mintmasters initial "C" and others are undated. It is not rare but was accompanied by copper two and eight maravedis.
