Aureo y Calicó sale 422, lot 2590

This specimen was lot 2590 in Aureo y Calicó sale 422 (Barcelona, December 2023), where it sold for 20 € (about US$26 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "1607. Felipe III. Segovia. 2 maravedís. Pátina verde. 1,85 g. MBC+ [green patina, choice very fine]." This specimen is from a Spanish type milled at the Segovia mint 1602-20. It has a low catalog value. The SCWC also lists hammered two maravedis from the same mint (KM 7.5). Thirty four maravedis made a real.
