Shown is a Spanish two reales struck in 1788 at the Seville mint. Assayer C is recorded for the year 1788 only. The first specimen was sold by Cayon Subastas in Madrid, Spain, on September 15, 2011, for 90 euros (about US$147 including buyer's fees). The catalog description reads:

"Sevilla. 2 reales. 1788. C. EBC/EBC+, restos de brillo original. Tono. (two reales of 1788, Seville mint, extremely fine, toned, some luster.)"

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 6.77 g, 0.833 fine silver, 0.1813 troy oz ASW.
