Two maravedis were hammered 1600-04 at Burgos (shown here), Granada, Cuenca and Valladolid. The date on this corroded, worn and weakly struck specimen is clear off the flan and could be 1603 or 1604. Many later became victims of counterstamping, public and private. Segovia made milled two maravedis 1598-1619.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: 1.6 g, copper, irregular edge.
