This specimen was lot 1800 in Sincona sale 73 (Zürich, November 2021), where it sold for 300 CHF (about US$386 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SPAIN | Königreich. Carlos II. 1665-1700. Real 1686, Segovia. Selten. Sehr schön. (kingdom of Spain, Charles II, 1665-1700, real of 1686, Segovia mint. Rare, Very fine.)"
Altho this was struck at Segovia 1686-87 only, it was also produced at Seville in 1690-94 (KM 204.2). Four and eight reales were also struck to this design, which invokes the protection of the Virgin Mary against the disasters befalling Spain.
