This specimen was lot 24887 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2018), where it sold for $600. The catalog description[1] noted, "SPAIN. 8 Reales, 1611-B. Seville Mint. Philip III (1598-1621). NGC AU-55. Struck on a broad flan. Clear 4 digit date. Full shield and cross. Toned." This type was struck for Philip III at Seville 1611-21, and also at Toledo, Valladolid (1601 only), Madrid and Segovia (1619 only).
