This specimen was lot 2675 in Ponterio sale 164 (New York, January 2012), where it sold for $1,207.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. 8 Reales, (1)611-F. Philip III (1598-1621). Full shield and cross. VERY FINE." This type was struck 1598-1621 in Mexico City and is not rare except in high grade. The vast majority lack dates.
