This specimen was lot 14276 in Heritage sale 351 (Long Beach, June 2004), where it sold for $36. This type was struck in Madrid 1814-33, in Seville 1815-33 (shown here) and in Cadiz 1810-12. Lower in fineness than contemporary Latin American issues, they were discounted in international trade. Tho priced fairly cheaply in the SCWC, this type is very difficult to find at U. S. coin shows.
