This type was struck in Madrid (shown here) 1814-33, in Seville 1815-33 and in Cadiz 1810-12. Lower in fineness than contemporary Latin American issues, they were discounted in international trade. Tho priced fairly cheaply in the SCWC, this type is very difficult to find at U. S. coin shows.
Recorded mintage: unknown but listed as common in the SCWC.
