Spain 1829-Seg 2 maravedis

This Spanish two maravedis was struck at the Segovia mint in 1829. The second specimen was lot 2356 in Aureo y Calicó sale 232 (Barcelona, March 2011), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"1829. Segovia. 2 maravedís. EBC (Two maravedis of 1829, Segovia mint, extremely fine.)"
This type was struck 1816-33 during Ferdinand VII's reign and was accompanied by copper eight, one and four maravedis. The type is common in circulated condition.
