Shown is a Spanish two reales struck in 1725 at the Seville mint. Assayer J is recorded for the year 1718-1726. This specimen was auctioned by Cayón Subastas in Madrid, Spain, on September 16, 2011, where it hammered for 65 Euros (about US$106 including buyer's fees). The catalog description reads:

"Sevilla. 2 reales. 1725. J. Cy8772. MBC. Tono. (Two reales of 1725, Seville mint, toned very fine.)"

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 6.77 g, 0.903 fine silver, 0.1965 troy oz ASW.
