This specimen was lot 23157 in Heritage sale 3010 (Boston, August 2010), where it sold for $747.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Felipe IV 4 Reales 1628-P, AU. Segovia mint, as choice as is possible for a 17th century 4 Reales of Spain." This four reales, an early milled issue from the Segovia mint, is listed for 1621-60.

Recorded mintage: unknown but rather scarce.

Specification: 13.73 g, 0.931 fine silver.
