Shown is a Spanish one real struck in 1721 at the Seville mint. This type was struck 1717-1729. This specimen was auctioned by Marti Hervera in Barcelona, Spain, on October 25, 2011, where it sold for 45 Euros (about US$73 including buyer's fees). The catalog description reads:
"1 Real. 1721. SEVILLA. J. MBC+. (one real of 1721, Seville mint, choice very fine)"
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: 3.38 g, 0.917 fine silver, 0.0995 troy oz ASW.
