This specimen was lot 2863 in Stephen Album sale 45 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2023), where it sold for $900. The catalog description[1] noted, "SPAIN: Fernando VII, 1808-1833, AE 2 maravedis, Jubia, 1818, a wonderful red lustrous example with semi-proof like fields, PCGS graded MS64 RB." This type was struck in Segovia 1816-20 and 1824-33 (note the aqueduct mintmark) and was accompanied by copper one, four and eight maravedis. The type is not rare but scarce in nice condition.
Recorded mintage: unknown but a fairly common date.
