Künker sale 353, lot 3474

This specimen was lot 3474 in Künker sale 353 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €80 (about US$111 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Friedrich II. der Große, 1740-1786. 1/2 Reichstaler preuß. 1764, A, Berlin. Auf der rechten Seite der Waffengruppe 4 Spitzen. Sehr schön. Erworben am 19.5.1984. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, Frederick II the Great, 1740-86, half thaler of 1764. The right weapons group has four points. Very fine.)"

This type, struck 1764-67 at multiple mints, is fairly cheap in circulated condition.
