Künker sale 353, lot 3490

This specimen was lot 3490 in Künker sale 353 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €120 (about US$167 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Friedrich II. der Große, 1740-1786. 1/12 Taler 1765, A, Berlin. Berliner Typ. Vorzüglich. Exemplar der Auktion Berliner Münz-Cabinet 15, Berlin 1982, Nr. 656. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, Frederick II the Great, 1740-86, one twelfth thaler of 1765, Berlin mint. Extremely fine.)"

This type was struck 1764-71 at Berlin, Cleve and Breslau and this is a common date.
