Künker sale 353, lot 3505

This specimen was part of lot 3505 in Künker sale 353 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), which sold for €170 (about US$237 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Friedrich II. der Große, 1740-1786. 1/12 Taler a) 1/12 Taler 1766 B, Breslau. Berliner Typ. Exemplar der Auktion Berliner Münz-Cabinet 10, Berlin 1979, Nr. 3206. ...2 Stück., Sehr schön und fast vorzüglich. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, Frederick II the Great, 1740-86, one twelfth thaler of 1766, Breslau mint, Berlin type. Very fine. [One of] two pieces.)"

This type was struck 1764-71 and is common.
