Prussia 1765-B 1/6 thaler
This specimen was lot 3501 in Künker sale 353 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €60 (about US$84 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Friedrich II. der Große, 1740-1786. 1/6 Reichstaler preuß. 1765, B, Breslau. Berliner Typ. Winz. Schrötlingsfehler, vorzüglich. Erworben im November 1989 von Dr. Busso Peus Nachf. Frankfurt/Main. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, Frederick II the Great, 1740-86, one sixth thaler of 1765, Breslau mint, Berlin type. Minor planchet flaws, extremely fine.)"
This type was struck 1764-70, 1780 and 1786 at Berlin, Cleve, Breslau (shown here) and Königsberg and is common.
