This specimen was lot 3517 in Künker sale 353 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €1,300 (about US$1,809 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Friedrich II. der Große, 1740-1786. Reichstaler preuß. 1765, D, Aurich. Berliner Typ. RR Schön. Exemplar der Auktion Tempelhofer Münzenhaus, Heinz Senger 25, Berlin 1983, Nr. 757. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, Frederick II the Great, 1740-86, thaler of 1765, Aurich mint, Berlin type. Very rare, very fine.)"
