Prussia 1753-F 8 gute groschen
This specimen was lot 3451 in Künker sale 353 (Osnabruck, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €160 (about US$220 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Friedrich II. der Große, 1740-1786. 8 Gute Groschen 1753, F, Magdeburg. RR Schön-sehr schön. Erworben am 14.8.1996 von Fritz Rudolf Künker, Osnabrück. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, Frederick II the Great, 1740-86, eight good groschen of 1753, Magdeburg mint. Very rare, fine to very fine.)"
This type was struck 1753-59, 1763. Tall and short busts were struck simultaneously but not normally at the same mint at the same time.
