This specimen was lot 22641 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Las Vegas, August 2020), where it sold for $45. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Prussia. 1/24 Taler, 1753-A. Berlin Mint. Friedrich II. NGC MS-62. This type shows the king's monogram dividing the date. Another 1/24 Taler exists for 1753 (KM-264), with the date below the monogram. A sharply struck coin with pleasing satiny luster and a touch of light toning." This type was struck 1753-57, 1763 at several mints (A, F, G).
