This specimen was lot 361 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabrück, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €130 (about US$175 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH Friedrich II. der Große, 1740-1786. 18-Gröscher 1753, E, Königsberg. Fast vorzüglich. Exemplar der Slg. Bernhard Terletzki. Erworben im April 2001 von Manfred Olding, Osnabrück. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, Frederick II (the Great), 1740-86, eighteen groschen of 1753, Königsberg mint. About extremely fine.)"

The eighteen groscher or tympf was minted in Prussia 1714-18, 1751-65, probably for use in Poland, where the denomination was well known. This particular type is recorded for 1751-54 and is common. The first partition of Poland occurred in 1772.
