Künker sale 353, lot 3710

This specimen was lot 3710 in Künker sale 353 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €240 (about US$334 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Friedrich II. der Große, 1740-1786. 4 Gute Pfennig 1752, F, Magdeburg. Prägung für die westlichen Landesteile. RR Sehr schön +. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, Frederick II the Great, 1740-86, four pfenning of 1752, Aurich mint, struck for the western provinces. Extremely rare, field marks, very fine.)"

This is a rare type struck at Magdeburg 1752-53, listed but not priced in the SCWC. The SCWC notes that one thaler was 288 pfennige.
