This specimen was lot 3584 in Künker sale 353 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €460 (about US$640 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Friedrich II. der Große, 1740-1786. 1/48 Taler 1752, B, Breslau. Prägung für die Mark Brandenburg. Von größter Seltenheit. Leichte Korrosionsspuren, sehr schön +. Exemplar der Auktion Westfälische Auktionsgesellschaft 6, Dortmund 1996, Nr. 264. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, Frederick II the Great, 1740-86, 1/48 thaler of 1752, Breslau mint, struck for the mark of Brandenburg. Of the highest rarity, light corrosion, very fine or better.)"

This type was struck 1750-53. Altho valued at 1/48 thaler, this coin had only 1/53 as much silver. In 1750, the mints were reorganized and the mintmaster's initials dropped in favor of mintmarks (A = Berlin, B = Breslau, C = Cleve, D = Aurich, E = Konigsberg, F = Magdeburg and G = Stettin).

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 1.43 g, 0.219 fine silver, this specimen 1,27 g.
