Künker sale 353, lot 3410

This specimen was lot 3410 in Künker sale 353 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €1,300 (about US$1,809 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Friedrich II. der Große, 1740-1786. 1/4 Reichstaler preuß. 1752, B, Breslau. Prachtexemplar. Feine Patina, min. justiert, fast Stempelglanz. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, Frederick II the Great, 1740-86, quarter thaler of 1752, Breslau mint. Choice example, fine patina, minor adjustment marks, about uncirculated.)"

This quarter thaler was struck 1750-52 at Breslau. It was the last of its denomination until 1764.
