Ostfriesland in 1648

gold issues

Prussian issues (1744-1807)

in 1750, the Aurich mint was assigned the mintmark "D".

the Aurich mint seems to have closed about 1768 and the Berlin mint issued coinage for East Friesland thereafter.

in 1815, Ostfriesland was ceded to Hannover. In 1817, the "D" mintmark was assigned to the Dusseldorf mint in the Rhineland.
