The catalog description^[1] noted, "MEXICO. Sextet of 2 Reales (6 Pieces), 1833-55. Mexico City Mint. Grade Range: FINE to VERY FINE. 1) 1833/2-Mo MJ. 2) 1836-Mo MF. 3) 1848-Mo GC. 4) 1849-Mo GC. 5) 1852-Mo GC. 6) 1855-Mo GC. From the Kirk Menczer Collection of Republican Reales Minors." Of the fourteen mints of the Republic of Mexico, only Oaxaca did not strike this type. Shown is an 1848-Mo GC 2 reales, one of a type struck at the Mexico City mint 1825-37, 1840-41, 1847-63 and 1867-68 with assayer GC stamping two reales 1848-55.
