This specimen was lot 34284 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2024), where it sold for $216. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. Real, 1861-Zs VL. Zacatecas Mint. PCGS AU-58. This bright nearly Mint State Real delivers good details, with limited signs of handling thorughout." The type was struck at Zacatecas 1826-62, 1868-69 with assayer VL recorded for 1859-64.
