This specimen was lot 72456 in Stack's Bowers June 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2026), where it sold for $1,220. The catalog description^[1] noted, "MEXICO. Real, 1860-Zs MO. Zacatecas Mint. NGC AU-58. Rare assayer. Second finest of just three examples graded by NGC. Attractive dark blue toning. From the Kirk Menczer Collection of Republican Reales Minors." Of the fourteen mints of the Republic of Mexico, only Oaxaca and Real de Catorce did not strike this type. Zacatecas one reales are known for 1826-62, 1868-69 and most dates are common. Assayer MO (Manuel Ochoa) served 1857-60. The SCWC lists only an 1860-VL.

Recorded mintage: unknown but rare.

Specification: 3.38 g, 0.903 fine silver, .098 troy oz ASW.
