This specimen was lot 42687 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $384. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. 1/2 Real, 1842-Go PM. Guanajuato Mint. PCGS MS-64." For this date, the SCWC notes 1842-Go PJ, 1842/1-Go PJ, 1842-Go PM (shown here) and 1842-Go PM/J. None are awarded a premium.
