Morton & Eden sale 104, lot 495

This specimen was lot 495 in Morton & Eden sale 104 (London, November 2019), where it sold for £200 (about US$310 including buyer's fees). The catalog description^[1] noted, "Republic, 8 reales, Mexico City mint, 1842 ML, single adjustment mark on eagle's breast, mint state, well toned." The SCWC lists both assayers, MM and ML, as common.
