This specimen was lot 71120 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2025), where it sold for $600. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. 5 Centavos, 1869-Go S. Guanajuato Mint. NGC MS-64. Second finest of just three coins graded at NGC. A trace of light toning. Evidence of die clash on reverse. From the Kirk Menczer Collection of Republican Decimal Minors." This is a rather scarce date of a series struck 1869-81, 1886-97 at Guanajuato.

Recorded mintage: 80,000.

Specification: 1.35 g, 0.903 fine silver, 14 mm diameter, reeded edge.
