This specimen was lot 71205 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2025), where it sold for $85. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. 5 Centavos, 1870-Zs H. Zacatecas Mint. NGC VF Details--Cleaned. Second finest of two examples in the NGC Census. From the Kirk Menczer Collection of Republican Decimal Minors." Shown is an 1870-ZS H five centavos, of a type struck 1870-81, 1886-97. This issue from Zacatecas is a somewhat scarce date.

Recorded mintage: 40,000.

Specification: 1.35 g, 0.903 fine silver, 14 mm diameter, reeded edge.
