Shown is an 1888Ca-M five centavos, of a type struck 1871-74, 1886-95. This issue from Chihuahua is common. Other mints include Hermosillo, Culiacan, Durango, Zacatecas, Alamos, Guanajuato, Mexico City, Guadalajara, Oaxaca and Potosi. The year 1886 was the last year the Chihuahua mint used the "CH" mintmark; switching in that year to "CA."

Specification: 1.35 g, 0.903 fine silver, .039 troy oz ASW.
