Shown is an 1890OaN balance scale five centavos, of a type struck 1890 only. This issue from Oaxaca is among the rarer dates, especially in nice condition as here. Other mints include Hermosillo, Culiacan, Durango, Zacatecas, Chihuahua, Guanajuato, Mexico City, Guadalajara, Alamos and Potosi.

Specification: 1.35 g, 0.903 fine silver, .039 troy oz ASW.

Mintage: 48,000 (assayers N and E).
