This specimen was lot 72098 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2022), where it sold for $504. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. 10 Centavos, 1890-Mo M. Mexico City Mint. NGC MS-64+ Prooflike. Offering a rather sharp and robust strike along with incredible mint luster and some hints of iridescence near portions of the peripheries, this enchanting minor does not disappoint." This is a common date of a type struck at Mexico City 1869-97.

Recorded Mintage: 815,000, including an 1890/89 overdate.
