This specimen is a four reales minted at the San Luis Potosí mint, assayers P and S. Four reales were minted here from 1837-1869, with the PS assayer combination running the years 1843, 1860-61 and 1868-9.

Specification: 13.54 g, 0.903 fine silver, 0.3925 troy oz ASW.
