This specimen was lot 71378 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2025), where it sold for $384. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. 10 Centavos, 1880/79-Mo M. Mexico City Mint. NGC MS-61. Second finest of only two graded by NGC. From the Kirk Menczer Collection of Republican Decimal Minors." The Mexico City mint struck this type 1869-97 and was the most prolific producer of this denomination. Altho this is a common date, all the known specimens seem to be the overdate.

Specification: 2.70 g, 0.903 fine silver, 18 mm diameter, reeded edge.
