Mexico 1868-Zs YH 4 reales

from the Stack's Bowers 2018 ANA sale, lot 21381

This specimen was lot 21381 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it did not sell. The catalog description^[1] noted, "MEXICO. 4 Reales, 1868-ZsYH. Zacatecas Mint. PCGS MS-62 Secure Holder. Nearly fully struck and flashy with warm orange toning and hints of lavender color at the peripheries. A very scarce denomination for the Cap & Rays type that is decidedly RARE at the Mint State tier. A ideal coin for the type collector!" This specimen is a four reales minted at the Zacatecas mint. Four reales were minted there from 1831-1870, with assayer YH running the years 1868-74.
