This specimen was lot 6400 in Ponterio sale 155 (Baltimore, November 2010), where it sold for $230. The catalog description^[1] noted, "MEXICO. Mexico City. 8 Reales, 1857-GF. Sharply struck, lightly toned. CHOICE BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED." The SCWC lists this date as common.
