This specimen was lot 57252 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Pittsburgh, PA, August 2023), where it sold for $660. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. Real, 1851/0-C CE. Culiacan Mint. PCGS MS-63." This specimen was struck at the Culiacan mint in 1851. The issues of Culiacan are known for 1846-63 and 1869. This date only appears with the 1851/0 overdate. Most silver minors of Mexico are very rare in this quality.

Recorded mintage: unknown but a better date.

Specification: 3.38 g, 0.903 fine silver.
