This type was struck at Guanajuato 1826-68, with assayer PF listed for 1848-61. This specimen was lot 8158 in Ponterio sale 159 (Baltimore, March 2011), where it sold for $316.25. The catalog description^[1] noted, "MEXICO. Guanajuato. 1/2 Real, 1851-GoPF. NGC MS-65." The SCWC notes no varieties. This date is listed as common.
