The specimen shown is a middle date of a series struck 1824-69 at the Mexico City mint. That mint struck all denominations, silver, gold and copper. This date is common, tho many dates are rare. Assayer GC is also known for 1848-54; Long[1] notes, "The 1850 is a common coin. We know of no BU examples. AU are rare and are seldom offered but XF and lower grades are available at times."
