The catalog description^[1] noted, "Cuba, Republic gold Proof "Pinzon Brothers" 100 Pesos 1991 PR68 Ultra Cameo NGC. New World 500th Anniversary Series. From the El Don Diego Luna Collection." The year 1991 saw the release of many NCLT's by the regime featuring the 500th anniversary of Columbus's discovery of America. Greeted by disinterest from the world at large, many are now rare. The brothers were sailors on Columbus's first voyage to America.
