This specimen was lot 1713 in Jean Elsen sale 152 (Brussels, September 2022), where it sold for €130 (about US$157 including buyer's fees). The catalog description^[1] noted,

"CUBA, République (1902-), AR 50 pesos (5 oz), 1991. Stade Olympique de Barcelone. 1050 p. frappées. Flan poli. (republic of Cuba, silver fifty pesos (five troy oz) of 1991, Olympic stadium at Barcelona. Proof.)"

After the release of many self-congratulatory NCLT's was greeted by disinterest from the world at large, the regime switched to less political topics such as sports and history.
